Also, I wanted to ask if late updates are going to be seen or considered, my game had a lot of missing tutorials and required some tweaks related to difficulty which might be a pain in the ass so I worked on that some days after the deadline. But both versions are fine to be played since they don’t have any game breaking bugs.

When it comes to updates right now, there's 2 things to consider:

If you're fixing bugs, especially major bugs that make it hard to play, you are allowed to update your game and update the jam build version of the game.

If you are adding new content then you need to make a separate post jam version and label it as such.

Let me just ask PotaJoe to see where tutorials would fit in and I'll get back to you.

Alright it didn't take him long to get back to me. Yes, tutorials and tweaks to difficulty are fine in your jam build! Overall if you have an update you want to add that makes it easier for Joel to understand or play, we recommend adding it as a post jam ver at the very least. In this case however, you're fine to update the jam build.

Yeah that is my main intention, I will upload a video from both versions so you can see the differences so it makes things easier for you and the rest of people judging and testing the game to see if they are valid or not. But even with all that in mind I will always keep the build from April 15th available. Thank you for clarifying.

Just uploaded a video with a full playthrough of both versions of my game side by side, this might help the moderators decide if the updated version should valid for the stream or not.
