you are not silly, the riddles turned out to be more challenging than we thought. 🙏 We are currently thinking about adding some sort of a guide in the description of the game to help people that find themself stuck to be able to progress in the story anyway. 🌱

Just finished and the ending is peak!! I don't think I could do it without hints tho...
Here's some of my stuck points for each level
- There are too many collectables in the scene which fills up inventory quickly, and the blue bird's riddle is distracting to focus on the actual goal (literally didn't notice the hole at all)
- The relationships between animals are not very clear (who eats who), and I made some guess work here
- Puzzle 1&2 are solved with single item, so it's was bit counter-intuitive to put more than one items in the bowls
Overall great writing and puzzle designs ♡, and maybe highlight some keywords in the conversations to make the puzzles more accessible
Thank you so much for coming back to play the game to its end!
Well, the game isn't supposed to be intuitive, and the clues were indeed supposed to be hidden 🫡 I firmly belive that if your game is to find out how to open a locked door, it is not a good game if the key is visible next to the lock 🤔
The shears wasnt supposed to be as challenging though. We didn't enticipated that the player would mix up the bluetit riddle with the shear puzzle and that is 100% on us, because it is such an obvious connexion to make 😅 I also should've not put an other mushroom spot right next to the wormhole and should've draw it a bit bigger.
Every other stuck points you listed is by design 🫡 (No need to guess the eating dynamics of animals by the way, there are clues somewhere for that too)
I'm happy you enjoyed the game past the difficulty of the puzzle. We worked really hard those 2 weeks to make a game that we would be extra proud of 🤝
Writer for the game here - Thank you so much for your kind words (never had my work called peak before omg) and for coming back to retry our game with the hints!
Very appreciative of all the constructive criticism. Accessibility is super important, so I appreciate the notes you've given us - taking into account difficulty levels is something we'll definitely be learning from this jam! (´꒳`)♡
