I had no idea how to distract the blue bird, I looked at your screenshots to get some answers and the blue bird did the "Heh, back so soon" line in your photo but he didnt have the item anymore in his nest, mine still had.. idk maybe im just bad at point and click

don't be so hard on yourself xD there are no clues at all in the screenshot, so you wouldn't find anything there. The bird will not give back the shears by himself, his riddle is not to be taken as a quest, it will make sense later! If you want more help to advance in the game, I would be happy to give you some more hints on discord, but not here 🙏
