will not hook to the keycard at all just straight to the floor been trying for 2 hours just gonna give up on that

the hook is bugged or something in the current version of 0.9

thanks for letting me know. I thought so as well yea I hit that card right in the middle 250 times directly in the middle nothing. 馃槄

one thing you can do is create a save in 0.8 to get the keycard then put it in the mail box and for me at least it was compatible with 0.9_b

I tried to grab the card by going to sandbox mode and then deleting the door and then mailing myself the key, but the mailbox function isn't working or something.

That option is out. I have seen that you might be able to do the chair glitch where you sit on a chair in someway and then when you exit it puts you on the other side, but I don't quite know how to do that one.

I tried grabbing an object, slotting it through the hole, going to the side of the building so that I am holding the object through the wall and knocking the keycard down the steps (which should teleport the key to the top to prevent softlocks). That didn't work so I tried to use explosions to dislodge it.

I found out that none of this worked because the keycard acts like the burgers where you have to (press E) on it before you can actually interact with it. It can't be knocked out of the way or interacted with unless there is some mechanic that I don't know about. I assume this is done so that random explosions can't softlock you out of the keycard or the keycard teleports on top of the bunker and then gets launched by another explosion. Making it impossible to find in those bushes.

If you have any other ideas let me know, but I am stumped.

ive been trying everything from trying to use a chair to glitch myself through, ragdolling while pulling myself through the bunker window with the hook, i even tried to glitch myself in through the spot behind the rocks but ended up in the backrooms, so i think we need to wait for a new hotfix, im about to try the password changer and see if that works now but i have no idea if it will, but do i even need to be doing this for the book? or can i just put omega kerfur together without it?

You need the book for crafting omega kerfur sadly. no other way

Hey folks, just wanted to post about a work around, I found. I downloaded Alpha 0.9.0 [0015_1] from the main website, loaded a save in that I was using in the test version, in that version of the game. It let me get the card like normal, then I put the card in the mail box. Which allowed for me to carry it over into the test version of the game, you got to put it in something because if you are carrying it, it disappears completely. The mail box worked for me, unsure if other containers will work as well. I am also unsure if dropping it on the ground works as well, hope this helps.

I found some info on someone's comment, and I want to spread it around so what you can do is if you hit c to ragdoll on the roof of the bunker wait for your character to get up on their own and there's a chance that you will phase through.

this worked so quickly for me! Thank you! 

I hit c to ragdoll on top of the bunker and on the second try I got in.

I can't go through, I just keep dying when I try ragdolling

You could try to use a molotov and the molotov blast force will push the keycard further down and  will trigger the failsafe and the keycard will spawn on top of the bunker.( I dont know I never tried that but maybe?)

Don't quote me on that but I am pretty sure you can crowbar the fuck out of the doors to force them open.

Not the Keycard door. It is explicitly exempt from that.

For anyone reading this in the future wondering how to get in, I was able to by opening version 0.8.2 (its what I had from before, no clue if it works for other versions), making a new save (if you have an old one from then it should probably work too honestly) which has to be the same type as what you play (story, infinite, etc.), buying a hook and grabbing the card like intended, putting it in the mailbox and saving, then close that version and open up your 0.9b version, click the "fix pre 0.9.0 mailbox data" button in settings under misc, hit apply, then load into your game, it should hopefully be there ready to go (if its a white circle "not a prop" item then either you forgot the fix mailbox button or it didn't work for some reason, leave before it autosaves so it doesn't get stuck as that error item).

my game doesn't work on older versions and the keycard is bugged i tryed to go a past version but my game wouldn't work.

Download the old version, i was able to grab the keycard fine in 0.9i, but don't overwrite the current just have 2 votv installed then start a new save on the old version, run and grab some m.r.e inside the log next to the river and sell them then buy the hook and grab the keycard then put it in mailbox. quit old version, start new version and grab keycard from mailbox in your current save.

This seems to be an issue again. Anyone got a solution?
Ragdolling with C through the roof isn't working for me.

EDIT:

I found a temporary solution until this bug gets fixed:

You have to have Sandbox Mode unlocked.

Aquire the keycard in Sandbox Mode (delete the door, then pick it up), then save the game.

Convert the Sandbox Savegame into a Regular Savegame. (see: https://www.reddit.com/r/Voicesofthevoid/comments/1c52tns/can_i_port_one_of_my_s... )

Load the converted Sandbox Savegame, put the Keycard into the Mailbox, save, then load your regular savegame and the card will be in the Mailbox.

I have made a save that might help people with this bug. Just load up this save on version 0.9.0i and you will have the keycard and a hook in your inventory.

You can then put the keycard in your mailbox for your other save! Hopefully this helps someone until its patched.

Also I do believe they are working on a fix in an unstable version right now. This may not be useful for long.

Why this problem have two separate topics? Anyway. I鈥檒l share a silly trick I came up with to make things easier. Place a chair (I used a metal one, too) on top of something near the door (in my case, it was a pot), and after you sit down, turn around and pull on whatever you used to tip the chair forward, easily pushing you through the door.

Kind of worked for me but i had to use office chair and open trash can

Tipping the chair into the door works. I used a metal chair. If you turn around and hook the metal chair on the top and pull it towards you it'll tip you forward clipping yourself into the door. thanks for the idea, you're a life saver.

does the keycard changer not work on the door? i just hooked the card so i didnt know the card was bugged, but it feels like you could use the changer

I'm guessing the easiest way to get around this is for someone to just find the password to the first door in the game files

This is an older post so it doesn't work, but it'd be the only way to consistently get to the omega binder, as it doesn't seem the mailbox works. If anyone has the knowhow to get the code you'd save a lot of people a lot of trouble
