Maybe it's the timing or what you said or how you said it or I don't know I'm tired of writing this, so I'll just say it's your post that made me go "That does it, I'm abandoning my suicide plans and working on Gear Gals now."

Those who hate me can blame you for this.

Oh, well that sounds a lot more positive!  I always say someone should work on what makes them engaged and happy, and never out of any obligation.

That being said, platformers can be a many headed beast when it comes to mechanics, so I wish you the best of luck! 😆  As someone said above, you have a little community that will always be happy to see anything you create, whether it's a crumb or a feast. ❤️

Actually, working on Gear Gals IS being done out of obligation, and that obligation is because I said so.

It's FAR more nuanced that this, and as usual I spent WAY too long trying to figure out how I wanted to write this, but GameosynchronousOrbit's message became the final ingredient to, somehow, turn feelings of "I have to kill myself to prove I'm not a terrible person" into "I have to finish Gear Gals to prove I'm not a terrible person."

And there are a number of reasons why it specifically has to be Gear Gals, some of which being "because I said so," "because it's the game I feel the most confident about finishing," and "because of that tarot card reading I had years ago."
