As far as sound cues go, that was something I planned to add at one point, but especially with the amount of notes in later levels, I felt it would get very distracting from the music so I ended up not adding it. I suppose something I could do in the future would be changing the color of the hit particles depending on how accurately you hit it? That way you're still looking at the same area and can get visual feedback. Thanks for the idea, and thank you for playing!
