Really fun idea! I think there should be a penalty if you hit to early so that you can't spam spacebar.

This is beautiful.

A small detail I personally love is how every day, your character ends their conversations with "See you tomorrow." You get used to them saying it, even though your brother doesn't say it back. Then on the last day, expecting those same words, you get hit with "Bye." instead. Not from your character, but from the brother. Like he knew he wasn't going to see him tomorrow.

Beautiful game.

Really creative idea! The last level was pretty challenging, but like the rest of the game, it was super fun. Great entry!

Fun, challenging, and stressful. Managed to finish in 12:20 (no clue if that's good or bad lol). Great game!

You've got a great foundation for a game here! With a bit more time put in this could be an even better experience. Good work!

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make the platforming a bit precise, but I think I made it a bit too precise... well I'm glad you didn't have much trouble with it!

I'll be sure to play your game and drop a rating!

Thank you so much! I tried to have fun with the narrative side, as most of my games don't usually have much of a story. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, a couple people had issues with the jumping... that's something I gotta work on I suppose. Other than that, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked it. I'll make sure to give your game a rate as well.

Really fun entry! I love how the music changes when the time reaches 1 minute remaining. Keeps the level music from getting old.

Really fun story and game! Shocking twist ending 😱

Really fun game! I enjoyed every level and the concept was really cool. I managed to beat the game in 10 minutes 54 seconds... that's probably not  a very good time.

Really fun entry! I love fighting games. The pixel art fit really well too!

The art is wonderful, and the gameplay is fantastic! Great entry! One of my favorites so far

Really fun game! Especially for a first jam it's super impressive! Great work.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it on the recommended difficulty! I wasn't sure if it would be too hard or not.

Thanks for the suggestion! If I were to make this game again, that's probably how I would make it. I think the idea of petrifying whenever you want could be a lot of fun. Appreciate the feedback! I'll be sure to rate your game shortly :D

please don't fly me to the moon by Hank Pinatra is my favorite song. Great game! Took me 3 or 4 tries to beat. Really fun and a bit difficult

The visuals are so cool! Not sure how you accomplished that look with the real pictures, but they look super cool!

Fun and spooky take on the theme! Enjoyed each level and managed to escape the maze.

Fun concept! I had an issue where I couldn't interact with the antenna but all I had to do was fullscreen the game. Great entry :D

Thanks for playing! Something I wanted to add was a mechanic that allowed you to have multiple statues of yourself at a time for more complex puzzles, but I had to cut it for time. Maybe that could have helped with that.

Anyways, thanks for checking my game out! I'll be sure to check yours out and leave a rating too!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the level design could definitely be better. I wanted to add more mechanics to make them more interesting, but as game jams go I just had to scrap it all lol. I'll try to put more time and focus into level design in the future!

I'll also make sure to play and rate your game later today!

First confirmed 100%-er?? Thanks for playing the game in its entirety, I really appreciate that. I'll be sure to play and rate your game later today.

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles! I'll play and rate your game as well later today.

Thank you for playing! I wanted to make sure the game was more fun than frustrating, so I'm super glad you had fun with it!

Thank you so much! I've been experimenting with limited color palettes recently and was excited to give it a try in a game jam. I'm glad you liked it! I'll be sure to play and rate your game later today

I’m glad the boss gave you a challenge! Some people had an easier time with it than others, so I guess it depends on how you spent your upgrades. I’m also happy you liked the characters, as that’s been something I’ve been trying to improve this year.

If theres one thing rhythm games have in common, it’s forgetting which buttons your fingers are on lol. Thanks for playing!

Another vote for audio cues! Before I settled on the Rhythm/Upgrader mash up, I thought about doing a Rhythm/Tycoon mash up where you owned a guitar shop and would battle customers or something. I couldn’t figure out how they would tie together and I had no idea how to make a tycoon, so I had to scrap it sadly. Thanks for playing though! I’m glad you liked it :D

Thank you so much! Audio cues are definitely something I need to experiment with, as some other people have mentioned the same thing.  Appreciate the feedback!

The way I handled the note objects probably wasn’t the best, so since the later songs had more notes maybe it just became harder to run? I’m already thinking of ways to improve, so thank you for letting me know. It’s a shame you were able to get through the boss in one go. Maybe I should have increased the price of the last couple upgrades? Regardless, thanks for playing! I’ll be sure to keep your feedback in mind for the future.

Keyboard controls are very different from controller so don’t feel bad if you didn’t do as well! Maybe I should add a controller mode…🤔 Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the feedback! Since I made this for a jam I tried to keep the skill level relatively low, but I would definitely love to add more challenge in any future updates/games!

Thanks for the feedback! As far as sound cues go, that was something I planned to add at one point, but especially with the amount of notes in later levels, I felt it would get very distracting from the music so I ended up not adding it. I suppose something I could do in the future would be changing the color of the hit particles depending on how accurately you hit it? That way you're still looking at the same area and can get visual feedback. Thanks for the idea, and thank you for playing!

Very fun! The 2D platformer to 3D fps concept is very creative and executed pretty well. Wonderful name too.

Super fun game! I enjoyed getting super crazy combos on the match 3 and just buying tons of knights lol. I wasn't good enough for hard mode though.

I super appreciate the feedback on each individual category. It really helps me see what specifically I did right, and what things I can improve upon. As for the UI, a visual indicator could absolutely improve the way battles flow.  I would have never considered that, but it just makes sense! I appreciate the suggestion! Thank you for playing until the end.

Thank you so much for playing! I appreciate the feedback. The menu management could 100% use some work, and I think your suggestion would definitely help!

One of my favorites so far! I especially love the limited color palette.

I loved all the unique minigames and getting my legend status from reaching 100 kicks too.

Wow! Congrats on being the first completionist! I wish I could’ve added more attack variation but I was already running out of time when I added the current system. I’m glad you recognized the shop keeper too! Thanks for playing!
