I enjoyed the combat of weaving in and out of the enemy circle and getting as much damage in as I could between attacks. That being said I do think the tie to the theme is a bit loose and would not be interpreted without reading the description. Definitely could be a potentially cool combat system to expand upon in the future . I found even while weaving in and out of the enemy's attacks I still got damaged a lot so better indication of when the enemy can hurt you could definitely help.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you enjoyed the combat, that weaving in and out feeling is exactly what I was going for.

The enemy is meant to represent a personal struggle or obstacle. The movement during combat is symbolic of navigating that internally. The starfield moving upward in the background is there to hint at growth or self-reflection while you’re dealing with it.
In the end, when you defeat the enemy, you also fade away, making it less about winning and more about accepting the situation.

I totally get your point about the theme not being very clear without the description, and that’s something I’ll take into account more in future projects. Also a good point about the damage feedback.

Thanks for playing :)
