How does your game fit the theme?
JunkStain is a game about moving platforms around with your cursor to guide and control a robot!

Moving boxes with your cursor having Outside influence over them to control them. Or a better way to phrase it would be controlling things (boxes) outside the robot's control!.

This is really impressive, both for a first game and for a game jam game.  The pixel art is really good, the core mechanic is a cool idea.  It's a little janky in that you sometimes have to fiddle around with the angle you drag the platform from to get it to work but yeah cool game.

It's a little hard to click on the platforms, but very cool game overall!

This was a very good game, the visuals were stunning, and the puzzles were pretty interesting. Great job for your first game! Unfortunately, at the beginning of the last level, the last layer of the parallax background broke and it completely ruined my immersion and experience as a whole.

Just kidding, it was awesome, that was really my only issue, and it was an incredibly miniscule one at that. Amazing job!

oh yeah nevermind glad you had fun (:

Artwork was amazing and makes me wonder what happened to this world. Moving platforms downwards can be a slight pain and a bit inconsistent. Solid 21/25 or 4.2/5!

Really cool concet, and I like the art. The controld felt a bit awkward, still not entirely sure how th ecursor works, but it was fun

very creative idea, I did feel the clicking as a bit off sometimes. Loved the parallax effect on the environment, a great touch. I think this idea you have of dragging the boxes around is a really cool concept with lots of potential. would like to try a version that is more puzzle than platformer. great work!

This is a very nice game. The main mechanic of moving the boxes was very nice, but I found at times clicking the box was a bit unresponsive. Having the mouse change visually would help with that, along with sound effects attached to selection. I also found the foreground occasionally blocked parts of the gameplay. Overall this is great, especially considering this is your first game. great job :D

The atmosphere was amazing! Great art and sound! The actual gameplay was a little janky though, my clicks weren't registering most of the time and there is not a noticable difference between dying and moving to the next section which was frequently confusing. I do love the mechanics in concept and I'd love to see them polished up! Good stuff!

I like this! I have a few notes though, I feel like camera placement is off in my opinion, it definitely should’ve been higher and a little more zoomed out, and less foreground should’ve been on screen because the ground is usually the cutoff point. I think the game had too much parallax from the mouse in my opinion which made it a little disorienting too? I think it would’ve benefited more from a static camera system instead of a moving one. Overall, I think the art is neat, it has as a lot of charm, and I think the concept is definitely pretty cool!
