In my opinion, being able to use ai art both for your game and title page really brings down the experience of the jam. It takes away creativity. I understand the use of ai chat bot, for that can add cool mechanics to a game. The argument that some people aren’t artistic and need ai, is just stupid.

thanks for the review!

Fun Little Experimental game! (except there is no video pitch)

One of my favorites for the jam! Art Style was cool and Audio was hilarious!

This was a good time! This type of game is a bit generic, but you put a really cool spin on it. The artwork was also simple yet effective!

Artwork was amazing and makes me wonder what happened to this world. Moving platforms downwards can be a slight pain and a bit inconsistent. Solid 21/25 or 4.2/5!

In hindsight, I would have added more attacks and combos! Thanks for reviewing.

your experience is the same as mine, I’m also a 13 year old in my first jam and I feel the same way!

thank you

I was wondering in anyone was gonna find a chaos trick, nice job. Thanks for the review

My game is a top down, Minecraft dungeons inspired, dungeon crawler game where you defeat  travel through a giant box, defeat boxes, and destroy the final boss, king krate!

If this sounds interesting, try out beat the box! This is not a Rate4Rate, cause r4r is stupid.

PLAY NOW

pretty fun, a few suggestions! One, maybe up the speed of the box. Two, communicate the piston a bit more. I thought the piston was time based, but eventually I realized it was every three moves. One way I would fix this is putting a timer on it that counts down from 3.

Nice Game. 2 suggestions and a glitch! One, I don't thinks its possible to get all the way to 10,000,000, but i dont know for sure! Two, I think you imported some of your pixel art wrong. Some things (such as the shop stand) looked kind of blurry. Finally, the glitch, when playing, my pet was about to die and they ate at the same time they died. Coon said I lost, but I didn't return to the main menu. After that my cat was immortal too.

Anyways, Fun Game

first of all, super cool art style! mixing photography and pixel art honestly made the images in your game look like something that belongs in a museum.  Having the main character be a packing peanut is also really funny. Its cool you made a scratch game for the game jam, i used to do scratch but I've moved on to unity. Speaking of scratch games, you can use turbowarp to change the aspect ration of your game (and framerate), this way it can take up the entire screen. A few pieces of criticism, first, the text that told the controls was just way to pixelated. You should have gone with a font instead. And one more thing, I feel the Vacuum Cleaner was harder then the human.

Anyways, Good Job

Thank you so much for the nice review

I had multiple people test my game, some beat it super quickly, others took 25 minutes. If I could go back, I would make different difficulty modes . Thanks for the feedback!

My original idea involved getting better weapons, but life stuff got in the way and I lost a week of development time. Thanks for the review and the feedback!

Thanks for leaving a review and the feedback. This is my first game with unity so constructive criticism helps alot!
