How does your game fit the theme?
1. The story is based on the VR set that you mysteriously got in the box package. So you get it out of the box and then its all in the game.
2. Lots of "out of the box thinking", like making dungeon crawler rage game about parkour and RAM prices.
3. Most of the blocks had to be boxes, but later I decided not to stick with that style decision
4. You represent a hacker and you are performing the black box hacking
Generally, its out of the box...

I really enjoyed this one! The concept really fits the "bad ideas" part of this game jam and i thought it was really fun. Overall great job on this!

The premise has a lot going for it but the execution I think needs a little work. The glitches are a little frequent.

Playing this now, I’ll just write as I play.

The mini games at the start were a little confusing? Maybe I didn’t understand what they were trying to convey.

I’m in the 3D exploration part of this now and I love the look with the dithered shadows. It looks really nice.

Some of these distortion effects are making me feel a little dizzy.

I got to the 4th floor and fell off. :D I’ll have to stop here for time sadly.

You got something pretty unique here so far and I hope you keep going with it. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback! The mini games meant to be a way to tell some backstory, without the dialogs and etc. I will think how to make them less confusing tho.

The concept is great. A rage-game dungeon crawler about skyrocketing RAM prices is exactly the kind of bad idea this jam calls for. The glitch effects are a nice touch thematically. That said, the vision blackouts hit pretty hard early on and make it tough to get your bearings. Rough around the edges, but there’s a genuinely interesting game in here. Hope to see a post-jam version!

The game definitely felt a little frustrating to play, but I think there is a lot of potential. The art style and mini-games were fun and interesting to play

I enjoyed the game a lot!

i have no idea what im doing tbh, the game itself looks good in visuals and by audio towards the start, and i like the glitch effects as well but i would prefer if they were less frequent to get familiar with the layout of the floor. also

i couldnt see a thing in the third floor as it was stuck like this in rainbow colours, but i see that u cant fix the bug in the allocated time. the game itself is not bad, but maybe u could fix the glitch effects as a bare minimum to make the game more playable.

Thanks for a feedback, really appreciate it! It was hard to balance everything without it. I hope to make the full version after the jam anyway, so I will try fixing that! Thx again!

I like the premise, but in execution, i couldn't get past the bottom level. I couldn't figure out what to do, and my vision kept disappearing before I could really get an idea of the layout. I also got stuck and couldn't move after hammering the plastic chairs. Cool idea though.

That's probably a bug, that I wrote in the description. It's very sad that I didn't catch it on my devices for all that time. Thank you for playing tho, I hope to fix it after the game jam!
