The game is decent, but the handling needs more polishing. The sound on the "Game Over" screen is pretty harsh if you have headphones on...

That is true, the handling could really use more polish. I hadn't given the audio in the "Game Over" screen much thought but you are right really should have been more mindful of that. At the time I just thought about how the sound effect added to the whole game in regards to the fact that the character is supposed to be a computer bug, and paid little attention to how to actually handle it. I could've worked a bit with the volume, add a button to deactivate it, or something like that. It's the first time I ever worked with audio so still learning.
Watching the video you included also made me realize that I needed to add logic to adapt the spawning of the platforms to their new speed.
