Nice chiptune pieces! Both 8beat and Funky E-Shop feel very cave-like. I can see these being in a game about an underground society!

You can just do multiple files instead of a zip file...

I didn't even think on that when I published ._.

But next time I'll enable it to play directly on Itch.

2nd ost is pretty cool. Very suitable for shopping scenes!

For having no experience that's actually pretty good! I was genuinely vibing to your tunes and I definitely encourage you to keep making music if you want to!

Hello, and thanks for rating. I'm happy to see people enjoying it.

To be honest I've been making music since June (or July) of last year, but I never really had an opportunity to compose for a jam or an actual game. Honestly I still consider myself a beginner, I don't really have any music background and never played an instrument, as I just know the basic of chords, and maybe a bit of hamorny. Sure, those aren't the first songs I make, as I sometimes create projects to experiment, but those are the first ones I make (and finish) for something serious like a jam.

But genuinely, I'm happy to receive feedback, making music is one of my favorite parts of game dev, after designing and programming, so I hope to get better at it. Again, thanks for it :)

It's cool to see devs branching out into music - I think for no prior experience this was a good submission.

If you plan on continuing making your own music I'd suggest looking into writing variations on a theme. Since you've established a few melodic ideas in each of your tracks I think finding ways to make small changes to them (either in the melody itself, the underlying harmony, etc.) will add a nice bit of variety in the music and help you further develop the ideas you've already got.

Thanks for sharing this, and keep up the good work :)
