Totally, I agree - I'll be working on a jam update where maybe things are a tad slower paced but you can choose a hireling and see which stat is most significant for the job. I didn't have time to implement that anymore unfortunately, so had to make do with the game just choosing the first available hireling, and that's defintiely not ideal! Thanks for giving it a play!

Totally understandable. I think slowing it down a bit is the right call. If the game feels too slow, the player can speed it up whenever they want.
