Under verse add-ons is a bit more complicated so I suggest you read the walk-through

The bots in the hideout for example take bot crates they also take antimatter and some energy bio and nano pods

Huh, I definitely checked the walkthrough and I couldn't find anything. And with the bots, I'm almost sure I had those things in the cargo when I tried to trade. I'll check next time I get a chance to make sure.

I was right, I have bot crates and pods and the window still doesn't show any of them for trade.

Click on one of the empty cells on your side of the trade screen.
