Love your games, Love your content. I thank you for providing the warning regarding your AI age verification system. However, I cannot in good consiounse play this game as long as the system is included. I do not live in the areas where this has been mandated, and I value my privacy. I understand your model says its entirely anonymous, but that is what every system says and it always turns out to be false, and even if it was truly anonymous I still wouldn't because I refuse to legitimize this bullshit. This is a shame because I've been looking forward to the release of this game for a long time. Keep making good shit, and I wish you the best as a developer
Just to clear things up a tad, since I can see those votes creeping upward; it's a nonsense joke warning page. There's a couple subtle tells, like the absurd quantity of jargon, the claim it scans device acoustics, the disclaimer about all characters being 22 years old, or the fact it's six paragraphs long.
I can certainly respect the stance being taken and think the frustration is valid (there's a reason there's a nonsense joke warning page, after all, I think we're broadly of the same opinion here), but overall I'd say this is a solid indicator to the value of being properly informed (so as to be able to correctly parse information) over anything else.

If it is a joke then... egg on my face I suppose. But california passed the stupid age verification law already, so Im already on guard for this kinda shit. The timing I feel like makes the potential joke in poor taste. I dont blame any of the devs who have to put this bullshit into their games, but I won't play them if they do.
I might re-download the game just to sift through the files to see if its actually there or not, but Im short on time these days so It'll probably be awhile
