Was the game fun to play?
I love the tagline - use your imagination. The hand-drawn art is great, the bright colours and happy vibes give off a lot of positive energy. While there isn't a playable game yet, the concept is strong and I think it would make an awesome GDKO round task to make a game from a picture like this. I really hope you turn this into a full project eventually.
Did the game include the core elements from the original?
The egg-shaped console with the iconic three button layout is definitely there. That pink creature is incredibly charming and it has the kind of face that makes players immediately want to take care of it.
Was there a clear path of progression?
Not in this current version but the character design perfectly sets the stage for really interesting growth stages or evolution paths and that would be totally awesome to see.
How good was the audio and sound FX?
No audio yet but I can imagine some sort of whimsical or upbeat chiptune to match the nice artstyle.
How well implemented was the UI?
The drawing of the 3 buttons shows well what the intended UI would be. Sticking to the classic setup is a great choice for this theme and it makes me look forward to seeing those buttons become clickable in a future build.
