I think the environments are cool, I liked the yellow and magenta circles that would be made that would create holes in the platforms. The vibrant style is also pretty nice. I think if you built off of some of the ideas this could be pretty cool!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the environments and the circle mechanic.

I also tried your game, but horror games are a bit too intense for me 😅 When I reached the part where I had to cut off a character's head I had to stop playing. It looked very atmospheric though!

Haha, I get that, it is a bit of a shock that's definitely not for everyone. Hopefully you still thought the lighting and art was cool.

it is a solid start

Thank you

A lot of the world's objects did not collide properly. The game was difficult to play. And the player took up far too much of the camera view.

This is a solid start to the world, and with more time can certainly be built into a 3d explorable world.

Thanks for the comment.

I tried to focus on some shaders, unfortunately I invested too little time in creating the game environment.

And by the way your game is great.

Is there an end goal or end state? I found and collected two biscuits but couldn't find anything else.

Developer

Unfortunately, there is no big goal in this game, just a little exploration of a "strange" environment where certain platforms suffered from corrosion to dissolution and even temporary disappearance, and the goal was to follow a path trying to avoid and understand those platforms.

I played your game and I liked it.

I was a little miffed about the objective of the game.  The concept was cool, with the platforms dissolving when you jump on them apart from using the Biscuits for HP and taking damage there was not much to do so I did not have a sense of direction.

Developer

There really wasn't much of a goal for the game, I just wanted to create some shaders and experiment with them in a weird environment. In the end there was only a limited amount of time left to put everything together to create a complete game.

Developer

I tried to integrate some shaders that would create a dissolve and corrosion for some platforms where the player can step. For some platforms depending on the number of touches and the degree of corrosion these can disappear or become transparent, others go between being a physical support for the player or simply disappear under the weight of the player.

It may not be a game that is playable in the usual way and although I was ready to give up publishing it at the last minute, I remembered the story of Anderson's ugly duckling ...

Honestly, this project needs alot of love. its almost impossible to play.

Is it about the player control mode? Indeed there may be some problems but with the ESC key and setting the mouse sensitivity you can walk through the scene ... and by the way, you made a very nice game.

Yeah the sliders were all the way down but it may have been cause I was on chrome had to switch over to edge for better play on most games and thank you :)
