The visuals and audio were surprisingly good for a one man team. I wanted to explore the world a bit more but the wind made me move to slow (and into that big hole more than I would like to admit). But The world was cool.
I did have this bug where I kept loosing camera control. Should be an easy fix.
I got major Lethal Company vibes from this. Excited to see where it goes.
The game was laggy and suffered from performance issues, though that could be on my end.
The controls were much too sensitive and there was no way to change that. Mining and fighting were both unclear as there was no indication of the progress as far as enemy health or resource health.
The ambient music fits well and I do like the lower-poly 3d environment. Good start for a 3d dungeon crawler.
The game did not run unless I made it fullscreen. Then when I tried to play, I fell off the bottom of the map twice. When I made it to the eye, I clicked one and it said I died. The main carachter also only had an idle animation and no other indications of movement.
There was no mention of controls, no clear gameplay loop, and I did not understand how to progress. Also the game was a bit vulgar for my tastes. Could use some polish but it is the start of a 2d platformer.
The game is pretty fun. It is engaging and can definitely be built out into a further complete project. The core of an idea of definitely there.
Biggest piece of feedback for me is that the UI breaks the immersion. I'm not UI wizard so I can't be super helpful here with specifics, but something about the menus and such seem like they're misplaced. Though I'm sure this can be easily fixed with some art tweaking.
Well done.
Edit: I think it's actually the juxtaposition between the lower poly art and the menu font / layout. But that's just my 2 cents.
