I've heard that one of the best ways to create a game that's fun is to make a "toy" rather than a game - something open-ended that encourages play and exploration. And that's exactly what this is, and it is pretty fun. It didn't really click for me at first, because I was mostly just combining all the different colors together, but once I figured out I could combine slimes of the same color - and paid more attention to the differences between the types of slimes - I started creating my own goals and playing around a bit more.

Also, I wish the combo colors were more appealing - You clearly put a lot of effort and thought into the art, and having all the combo slimes be a similar mucky brown color is realistic, but it's visually not very interesting and having them be the same color as each other makes me care less about discovering new ones.

I completely understand. The way the colors work is that the fruits give the Level 0 slimes a strict color scheme, and then the Fuser takes the color values of both slimes involved, and combines them.

One of the things I had to cut out from the game was a ReColorer, which was specifically to change the hue of any slime. That is definitely going to be added in a future, more complex version of the game.

Thanks for playing!
