How does the game fit the theme?
The game takes place in an abstract, surreal neon dimension with dubious physical laws, creating a mysterious "strange place" that the player must explore.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The programming and stage design are my own work. I used some external assets for the sounds and fonts.
How many people worked on the game?1

yea this was actually really fun! Great art and animation:)
I would also love if someone could rate mine too:)
That was fun, addictive, and a little frustrating all at once! Nice! The checkpoints were really helpful.
Very nice concept of the game, the music is good and it makes for a good platformer.
I would personally like if the gravity change is a bit more responsive, so when I press the change in the other direction goes faster.
Also I would change the "zoom out" mode as permanent. I was constantly holding the button down :)
Very nice game, reminded me of geometry dash (mainly because of the difficulty and artstyle) :D
Nice game! Love that you added a tutorial. I was stuck at some places for sometime. Good thing you added those checkpoints, because I wouldn't have been able to make any progress! I love the idea with the neon colors! Can't help but think of Geometry Dash while playing your game, which just got me an idea - add some coins in the levels so the players can customize their cube :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad the checkpoints and tutorial helped, I was a bit worried about the difficulty balance. That's a fantastic idea! Adding coins and customization would definitely give players more motivation.I'll put that on my to-do list for sure. Thanks for playing!
This was hard for me to do but it was sooo fun and it looks so cool :D! Great job >u<
Loved the game, very challenging, lots of nostalgia from Geometry dash and super meat boy.
Thanks for rating my game
Hi
This would be speedrunners' nightmare.
Very welldone.
I had trouble with the first saw blade, but then I learned I could almost swing with correct timing.
Very solid game.
And astounding for a solo game =)
Good job.
I absolutely loved the switch states and those texts and overall theme vibe amazing work!
lvl 2 got hard suddenly can u make them gradually hard ! like i barely know how to play then boom a crazy lvl at lvl2
but overall awesome!
Like the idea ! But the difficulty cursor is quite too high. All movement seem to need to be pin point and I am not fan of full die and retry without checkpoints option
But I would play with pleasure a re-equilibrate version of it !
Feel free to test our game !
Thank you so much for your feedback! I've added save points in this version—the white triangles you touch, which turn purple with a particle effect.
The difficulty level has also been slightly adjusted to make the game smoother.
I did retry, I didn't get the first check point, I did go directly to the left
I think the difficulty still too high for me. All the timing seem to be near frame perfect and there is a lot of death due of the camera being so close that you don't see what is comin
Gemeotry Dash Gravity Edition xD. Fun game with nice visuals and rellay love the detail about the platforms "blinking". I wish I was better at platformers (I died a bit often) but overall great work!
Cool game! I loved the neon vibe :)
Nice game! I would reccomend doing a stand alone web version.
But the neon vibe and the mechanic are nice. Nice job!
Visuals
1 ... I do not like those buttons (GUI) -> one of reason is they looks like map/world elements
2 ... try different color adjustments
3 ... add mouseHover/mouseClick button feedback
4 ... decrease size of buttons for full HD/or option turn of mobile mode
5 ... tune <look direction of character> -> character look where its going to
Design
1 ... this up/change gravity very good design
2 ... falling out of map not visible (no visual feedback except you died -> reset):
2.1 . add danger zone feedback
3 ... swapping bg color very good
4 ... how would look fully connected floors/walls?
5 ... maybe scale character when using direction swap with camera zoom to give extra impact of core ability/game mech.
Controls
1 ... controllable +2
2 ... maybe adjust tweens/interpolations (how speed changes)
Sound
1 ... it fits theme as chilling sound
2 ... maybe adjust tempo based on bg color
Bugs
1 ... player is able to go behind the map -> when you realize it you are force to restart (cause its too late)
Cool platformer, I like the neon vibe. Think it would have been nice if the camera was zoomed out more. also it felt a bit too difficult already from the get go.
That being said, still nice game!
Really nice game. And the fact that you made this using your phone is even more amazing. Well done.
Really fun game! I actually spent more time on level 1 than on level 2.
One small suggestion: the gravity-switch button could feel a bit smoother, sometimes it seems like it doesn’t work exactly as expected.
Hard game! Really liked it!
Very tricky game, very well made and polished, well done for making it on your mobile!
Cool! It’s amazing you made this using only a phone — the visuals look really nice, and the main character is simple and weirdly cute too!
For my personally, just so small feedback from my side:
The camera feels a bit too close, so it’s hard to see the obstacles around and plan where to go next — unless I keep holding the zoom button during the run.
Since I’m playing on PC, using the Up Arrow to flip both up and down feels a bit unintuitive. Maybe make it Up = flip up / Down = flip down, or use a separate key like Space / Z.
Also, More Checkpoint!
Anyway, Great Work! It's really incredible of only using a phone of doing this!
First and foremost, this is really well polished for a game that is developed on a phone. I can't believe it lol, it must've been a pain
The mechanic is cool, kind of like geometry dash, and the tutorial was great at teaching the player it.
I'm not sure if this is intended or a glitch, but the walls appears to flicker which a nice addition to the "strange place" theme.
One thing I want to point out, the game definitely needs a checkpoint system (maybe there is a checkpoint system but I'm just too unskilled to get to it). Though I appreciate that the game spikes in difficulty, when I got so far in but died, it's really discouraging. That is unless you are trying to go for a rage game. If that's the case, you got me lol.
Great entry!
