Very nice first impression, both from graphics, audio, and ambience/feeling. I had some trouble understanding all the instructions and moving the camera at first, but after entering full screen and trying a few times, I got it. I mistyped all the f time, but still had a lot of fun with it.

Wow, just wow, I love tryping games a lot. It was actually really hard to type correctly, the ghost wanted me to now miss anything ahhahaha. I only had a few issues and a gamebreaking bug that killed me right at what I think was the ending. First, the '''' are no the same as my keyboard so I could never fix those. And then, I pressed Enter right before the ghost attacks, leaving the keyboard purple without any chance to type, so the time ran out and I died :(

I also thought the "K" in the Opal name were caps and they're not, just font things.

Thank you for playing. Those bugs definitely need fixing, and we hope you still enjoyed the game regardless!

This game was incredible! I was completely captivated by it and hooked in by correcting my mistakes. I loved the suspense and terror that came when I was running out of time! Fantastic work!!

My goodness! I came here fromtalking to one of the devs on discord, we talked about polish on games, and my goodness, now I understand what you are talking about, the amount of effort that must've been put into this game is unfathomable to polish it!

Really well done!!!

This is seriously one of the most unique jam entries I’ve played. The typewriter mechanic feels incredibly satisfying, from the sounds to the animations, and it creates a lot of tension in a really simple way. The atmosphere is excellent too, it’s surprisingly unsettling for a game that mostly has you sitting at a desk typing.

It’s definitely challenging, especially once things start interfering with your typing, but that also makes it really engaging. You can tell a lot of care went into the details and overall polish.

If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be readability. In some moments it was hard to tell exactly what I’d typed wrong or where the cursor was, which made correcting mistakes extra stressful. A tiny bit more clarity there would go a long way without reducing the difficulty.

Overall, super creative, memorable, and very well executed. Awesome work.

Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game!

Yup, the caret would need to be adjusted as a lot of people had pointed out too. It's funny cause real typewriters had way worse caret that what we modelled, but I guess from a game's perspective, realism might not always be the best course of action. Lesson learnt.

Oh I'm loving this game! Vrry cool concept!

It is very diffciult to me because I am a little bit dislexyc and english is not my mother thonge, but I'm managing!

I found a bug, if you finish typing a lin and click enter at the same time a ghost is typing, the machine will get stuck and wont let you continue the game.

I see is a minor thing in programing but it will fuck up the run sadly :(

Still love it a lot!! One of my favs!!!

Developer

Thank you for playing! That's a strange bug indeed... clicked enter while the ghost is typing.... hmm...

Anyway, glad you still enjoyed the game regardless!

Very polished for a week. It's a bit hard to get used to the mechanics; but makes sense since using older technology like typewriters should have a steeper learning curve, so it's aligned with the intended experience!

Thank you for playing! We know full well that typing games is a really niche genre, and It's nice to hear that you enjoyed the game despite not being a typing game fan!
