The Table Has Been Summoned
Hello everyone,
Welcome to the very first devlog for Witch Table — a dark fantasy arcade game about precision, tension, and controlled chaos.
This post marks the official beginning of the project’s public development journey. From now on, I’ll be sharing progress updates, design decisions, experiments, mistakes, improvements, and everything in between.

Description
Witch Table is a skill-based arcade experience set in a grim fantasy atmosphere.
You don’t control the ball directly.
You control the environment.
Each level challenges your spatial awareness and micro-adjustments as you rotate the table to align gravity and movement. The mood is intentionally unsettling — dark wood, ritualistic glow, subtle unease in the soundtrack.
It’s minimal in concept.
But it aims to feel intense.

Current Prototype Status
The game currently features:
✅ 6 fully playable levels
✅ Core rotation mechanics (WASD, Arrow Keys, Gamepad, On-Screen Joystick)
✅ Scoring system (hit the magical circle to progress)
✅ Dark fantasy atmosphere
✅ Initial sound design to build tension and discomfort
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
The core gameplay loop is already solid: You rotate a heavy wooden tavern table to guide a mysterious ball into a glowing magical circle. Sounds simple — but precision and timing become increasingly demanding.
The table doesn’t forgive hesitation.
