The visuals are really good. Together with VFX, they look professional. The ship is so cool. There’s room for improvement, though. I can’t tell what resources are just by looking at their visual appearance. I would also suggest making the battery and computer UI stand out a bit more from the environment so that they are easier to recognize as UI elements.

Regarding the gameplay, the atmosphere is cool and intriguing. What I would suggest here is to make the first steps clearer and easier. I had to travel quite far and spend 50% of the fuel to find the first pile of resources. It felt like quite a hard challenge at the start. As a player, I prefer to get into the gameplay quickly and quickly get some results and feedback. In the game focused on gathering resources, it always feels rewarding to get your first money and buy the first boosts. As for the challenge, you can always add it later on. You may make the player travel far to obtain rare resources, or when resources nearby are depleted.  I hope this helps. Best of luck with the game, it looks very promising!

PS: I restarted the game now, and resources were quite close, so I was unlucky the first time.

Thank you for taking the time to give some feedback!

I completely agree with you on most of your takes. I was going into the UI design with the kind of "green glow, early computers" idea but I think I went too far into making everything dark and simple. At one point everything had labels and was much brighter and I moved away from that to make it a bit more atmospheric and looking back, I probably need to find a middle ground.

The resources spawning was the last thing I wanted to polish up before submitting and then I ran into the fact the web export from Godot uses a different renderer and it blew up all of my lighting. In my scramble to get that fixed, I truly ran out of time to make the resources behave like I would want them to. I like the idea that as your ship upgrades, the resources will be spread out a bit more but also more valuable so that the upgrades feel worth getting.

I appreciate your time and your kind words!
