You either need to contact itch support or paypal support. I'd start with Itch support and tell them some of your customers are getting Error 422.
It's a shame I'd really love to support you, I do love your works and games.
I tried filing a support ticket with Itch. Apparently they copied you on the email, but this is something you have to fix on your end. You probably need to contact paypal, it sounds like they're blocking payments.
Hmm I tried changing the settings about purchasement, maybe you could try it?
