I've been thinking that there has to be a condition to turn off those blue spikes, but can't find any place or thing to buy that might deactivate them.
in the full game, the "end demo" box will do exactly that.

Nvm, at the top of level five the only buyable thing is another add 8% chance to grow clones. (traveled through the finish to the top)
You have to dash and jump at the same time, then do a double jump (but the window is very tight and has turned my fingers to mush)
