I have spent a ridiculous amount of time on this game. it's one of the best inflation games out there, though I do have one or two constructive criticisms with it

The mango juice makes you slowly inflate forever which is cool and all but there's no option to stop it after drinking it. My autosaves kept the effect making me basically softlocked into a hard mode. I had to reset the game. I wouldn't ask you to change the mechanics of the mango juice but maybe you could have it automatically create a save file right before being used so I can undo that kind of mistake when I want to

I feel like the bong should be able to be used on other people. It has a special icon and a minigame. at the very least it should work on other party members

Many NPCs simply do not respond to the puffkiss lipstick. It's my preferred minigame and also the air pump can get really really laggy

some NPCs do not stay inflated even if you cork them, meaning you lose a cork.

the Petty goblins that have that inflation competition are cool but the female one can't be inflated further. it softlocks the game with an error message if you try

I think the prisoner SHOULD be inflatable but I understand why that might be hard to pull off cause every time you go to jail it ends up being one of two different people

I have no idea where I'm going the vast majority of the time. I backtrack so often when trying to find a new location. there should be some sort of map

I think it'd be really funny if you could inflate the fast-travel woman and it just makes the fast-travel feature not work anymore

More NPC-specific interactions should happen. I liked when that one girl in green treated me inflating her as a competition and she fought back and even won once, and the barkeep forcefeeding my character beer and making it extra fizzy took me off guard in a good way

1. Thank you! :)

2. I'll add a warning to recommend saving your game or something to it. The game's auto-save is super jank but the few alternative auto-save plugins I tried were even worse 😩

3. I plan on expanding most of the interactions that only work on the player to other party members in future updates. I'll probably do the bong too but it was mainly just a birthday gift gag for somebody.

4. The minigames are very buggy, yeah. I'll be rescripting them to be less laggy soon & fix the issues. A lot of specific interactions with props like that haven't been added yet since I'm planning on rescripting how NPCs are handled in 1.3, and plan on syncing all those items up for them then!

5. Was it any NPC in specific, or just a bunch of them?

6.  Noted!

7. The prisoner was meant to be inflatable, but I had to restore a back-up at one point and that got cut by mistake. They had two more prison interactions with your cellmate, but I'll need to add them back in at some point.

8. I plan on adding a map in 1.3 if possible, but I'll also be reworking the map then and it'll have more obvious directions & landmarks to make getting around easier. Think roads and structures!

9. I plan to whenever she's made inflatable >:)

10. I've got plenty more of these planned, though largely as sidequests more than anything. For specific NPCs (named ones) you try to inflate there'll be more of these, though!

(1 edit)

Regarding #5, yes they were specific NPCs. One was the green quest-giving woman in front of the town hall in the main town. I forget her name. Another was the juicer in the main town. I forget her name as well. I don't remember the third one

Also I forgot to mention, there's ghost NPCs.

There were like 3 anachronistic uninteractable NPCs that had no hitbox.

One was a purple-haired questgiver that stood in front of the market. Her sprite was rendered at the beginning of the game but her character spawned after interacting with the mayor and getting the quest with the goblins.

Another was the green-clothed woman who took me to see the mayor in the first place. Her sprite lingered in the main room of the town hall after her use was served and she wasn't there anymore.

Another was the black-clothed black-haired party member the mayor sends to help us. If you leave the mayor's office and come back, her sprite will still be in the top right of the room despite her standing right behind you

Also the alcoholic drinks don't seem to work on party members. It makes them drunk but it doesn't fizz them up

Also if it's at all possible mayyyyybe there should be another stage of inflation between stages 3 and 4. It feels like the characters kinda fwoomp up suddenly when going between those sprites. But this one is extremely low priority it does not matter that much

Also I wanna cork the goblin queen ehehehe

(1 edit)

These are all known issues and will be fixed sometime in the future! I don't plan on adding any more sprite stages ever, though. They already take a ton of work for each outfit.

Edit: I made the gap between these two larger as well as the jump between stage 3/4 is when the physics start to change (such as technically being floating and all that) so I felt that a larger gap would fit best here :)

Fair enough with the sprites

Actually you can't cork like ANY of the goblins. I only mentioned the queen but it's like all of them. Is that on purpose?

No, I was unaware of that! I'll look into it!
