A really great surprise.

The art direction is strong and gives the game a clear identity. The gameplay works very well, especially with its patient, puzzle-oriented approach, which I personally loved. You’re encouraged to observe, understand, and anticipate rather than smash attacks.

The attacks are fairly “telegraphed,” which is actually a good thing. Once you get used to the controls (which can feel a bit demanding at first), the challenge feels fair rather than frustrating. The lack of mouse input might surprise some players, but it seems like an intentional design choice — and it’s totally acceptable.

Overall, this is an impressive experience for a game made in 48 hours. I would genuinely love to see a more expanded and polished version in the future!

Thank you for your kind words, and I already continued the project, but took it even to a more "3D" feel, as now you can rotate the camera in the Explore Mode. :)

Good game, loved the art! :D

Thanks for playing!
The art is just quick lasso-tool art mostly.

Only spent more time on the character animations. (by drawing them only once and then moving pieces on different layers to indicate movement)

The artstyle is amazing. I am only having some issues with the encounter controls. In the description it says space to jump, but it seems to attack instead(?). I would suggest to have one clear key for each action.

Developer

No it says F or V = Jump

:D

You read the instructions too fast. But yeah if you happen to press Space in the exploration mode, it'll jump even if nowhere it says you jump from Space. :D

The multiple keys is for a certain reason, a friend of mine can't use Space to jump, nor attack either. So need alternative keys for him.

I didn't have time to implement a "Redefine keys" option so that you could bind any keys you want. :)

Thanks for testing it though!

the artstyle is really done well here, insane for 2 days

Thank you. It's lasso tool art, meaning I just draw colored blobs on screen and zig-zag with mouse. I use that a lot when not drawing with a drawing tablet. :D Lasso tool is the only way to draw with mouse! And it's quick for prototyping!

Other effects that make the art look way cooler are filter effects on screen like blurring or other such.

Fun game with insane art

Developer

Thanks for playing! And thank you for complimenting my hastily lasso-tooled sprites. :D

I know the game could use some tutorials or info screens at further development points.

For now, most instructions are seen on the game's page.

At the bottom of the gamepage there's further instructions if you don't find the design intuitive enough to have the user learn it by just playing. :)

Thank you for playing, rating, and commenting! :) <3

P.S. If you'd like to attempt Speedrunning it, be sure to grab a screenshot at the end and post it on the game page's comment section.
