Really like incremental genre so I had to try it, the concept is really innovative, I didn’t find any other game having exploration by cell in incremental genre so this is a great first point

The concept of having visual progress when exploring cell is very smart, this is definitely a nice hook in incremental / idle type of game, it starts slow but grows rapidly quite fast, needs balance of course (and you didn’t have time to finish which is very sad)

I definitely see a shop implemented to spend the cells currencies spent in order to buy explorers or improve them

It’s a bit sad to not see the explorers themselves (except for the pink dot ?), those were a bit buggy I think too ? The sea cell were growing really fast and the others quite slow, I think I had some performances issues because of that (playing on browser / chrome / Mac OS )

I definitely see this game in a full incremental game with polish / more mechanics, it was quite addicting in this state to play so with more balance / shop / mechanics this would be a blast to play and see how the map reveal itself

I encourage you to « explore » (pun intended) more into the concept because I didn’t find anything close to it yet (playing a lot of them, but maybe I’m blind lol), this merits more time invested 👍

Great concept, love the genre, cool game, well done!

Bonus point for the Kermit at the end, nice touch LMAO

Thanks for all the great feedback! I was originally planning to have resources be generated based on the tiles you’ve explored (e.g. wood from forest tiles), which could be used to purchase upgrades from a shop. It adds another idle element and will hopefully make player choice more meaningful in terms of choosing which direction to explore. It’s one of the many things I cut in order to reduce scope.

The explorers were very buggy and unfinished, but without them the world would have taken way too long to explore. I had to throw them in last minute to have any hope of anyone making it to the end. They won’t be pink dots for long :”)

I’ve got so many ideas planned for how this game could grow and unfold, so I’m glad you see the potential too. I’m already working on the next update!
