This one took me back! I can practically *smell* KB Toys . . .
Clever mechanic reminiscent of the Carta System (which I love!), evocative prompt, great "night in a museum" style use of the theme. Wonderful.
(Just a personal preference, but I like to print out my downloads, so I prefer pages to spreads. This lets me print half-letter booklet style with the pages in the right order. I try to offer both in my releases.)
I love the art. This is a very pretty game. The rules are simple and well thought out. I will give this game a seven because I definitely had too much fun with it. I like how the effects make the toys feel like actual physical things if that makes sense. I can not praise this game enough.
Wow!!! This game is super clever, incredibly whimsical, and captures the feel of being in a toy store after closing time so well. The font, art, colors... everything crafts a mood that's so perfect. I really love the mechanic of pushing to hit a good roll on the d6 (presumably from the PUSH system), and the 4x5 card layout feels like my favorite use of the Carta system I've seen so far (my brain automatically assumes anything with face-down cards that you explore is Carta even if it totally isn't lol).
You did an incredible job with the vibe here, and it's incredible you put this together in 72 hours. And goodness can I relate to time passing, feeling tired from playing too much, and wanting to have FUN! Such perfect stats to track the game state.
The ONLY issue I saw was that, on page 9, you wrote “see Special Tags p.6,” but the special tags are on the next page (page 10). With that said, this is literally the only thing I saw that wasn't perfection, and it sure isn't enough to reduce a score lol

Ooh my goodness that's such an embarrassing slip-up, thank you for letting me know! And thank you so much for your kind words, too!
No worries at all! It's sooooooooo easy to miss that stuff when you're rushing around to finish something in time, and you pointed to some stuff I needed to redo on ours too lol, which was super helpful! 🧡 And I had Angel to point out those issues, too, lol

This is awesome! Who hasn't wanted to have a whole toy store to themselves at some point in their life?
The gameplay seems really cute and entertaining. The tags are a neat way to give each toy their uniqueness. Plus, I really enjoy the vibe, art, and design. Having the journaling prompts is also a nice touch!
This is adorable. The theme definitely speaks to my inner child and is a lovely premise for a game. I like the laid back mechanics and how the only pressure really is just time, because eventually all good things come to an end. The game lets you explore and gives you effects that you can combo and feel clever for getting the most fun/playtime from something. The little subtitles for each of the toys are really cute and relatable.

Ah, it's so sweet and so warm-hearted :) The flavour text, mechanics and art all fit together so beautifully to make a sense of joy and play.
I honestly feel very nostalgic (in a good way) reading this game. People play a lot of games and very few toys. I have to admit that I occasionally pretend that a plushie I have knows how to backflip.
Very nice game I will try soon. Thanks for this entry!
