The music in this game is really funny, I like it a lot! I do think I ran into an issue where I wasn't able to take damage, but I liked the upgrade system and all of the projectiles.
I guess the invincibility bug is both a blessing and a curse, as you can't experience the game as it was intended, but you can at least enjoy the music :D
