Beautiful game, the music was great too.
It is nice that the game is extremely forgiving allowing you to constantly try again to complete the puzzle (because you will need to on some of those puzzles). It definitely leans into the aspect of wanting to propel the story forward but break apart the constant dialogue with a fun mini game!

Perhaps there should be an extra mini game where we have to find the right item in the cart based on the description Slickter gives, or even being able to choose dialogue options to help convince the cat and only when you fail you have to lick out the doubt from the cat's brains.

Some sound effects for each of the encounters, a sticker image of each item being sold, and some different images for showing the doubt in the cat's faces and maybe even a face of being brainwashed as the snake's tongue is about to go in their ear would be great!

A sound effect, a visual, and a slightly larger hit box for the thought bubble would be great!

I can definitely see a future for this game as a form of story building narrative game where Slickter travels the lands convincing all different kinds of animals that he has the goods they need. Maybe even adding dialogues where Slickter has to purchase goods as well would be good for a full 1800's travelling salesman experience. Maybe even licking the thoughts of robbing him when he gets attacked travelling from location to location would be fun too!
