Very long but a ton of fun! I can tell that a lot of effort went into the story and style. I was very grateful for the save/load mechanics and history logs. I got to see both endings and I thought the universe was very interesting! Parts to improve on are honestly just polish: Better integrated sound effects, voice acting or voice grunting for the characters would help a lot. And some of the tracks didn't loop, leaving some sections quiet. Though I really enjoyed the music that was there! I also appreciate any game with a set color pallet, the stark reds and golds haunting every frame set a good mood!

I think there's two main things that would help. Number one is that most of the ones used are very recognizable from other franchises and can kind of take you out of the fiction. The other thing is the lack of supporting sounds, they feel unnatural because we go from nothing but music to just the sound by itself. So ambient wind, the growl of the monster maybe a faint heartbeat or heavy breathing could turn the sound effects from a standalone element to a supporting item in an immersive soundscape.
