First covering the floor was satisfying but as I progressed in the game it got quite tedious. Having to traverse the level back by thrusting yourself with the guns was the peak for me. It makes me think that maybe the whole game should have worked like that. It could make for interesting scenarios where you have to shoot an enemy off the level but also be careful that you don't propel yourself off. The game was very polished though and I appreciate that I didn't have to paint every single pixel for the floor to be counted as covered.

Very fair point. I did think several times about simplifying and keep just the "pushing through oil part", since it felt the more fun for me. But felt that it was less original to have just that. Painting for me feel nice and satisfying, but sliding while painting felt a bit too annoying and punishing...but the game was about sliding so I was fucked and decided to keep everything :D
