Thanks! I had though ways to make painting more rewarding, like finding resources hiding in the oil like more shotgun bullets or ink recharges...but it created a lot of moving along the ink and felt frustrating for me with all the sliding. But definitely is an area to explore and think further, several people commented about oiling being a bit tedious. I appreciate the feedback!
Very fair point. I did think several times about simplifying and keep just the "pushing through oil part", since it felt the more fun for me. But felt that it was less original to have just that. Painting for me feel nice and satisfying, but sliding while painting felt a bit too annoying and punishing...but the game was about sliding so I was fucked and decided to keep everything :D
