I really enjoyed playing through this, it was fairly difficult for me so I appreciated the fact that respawning was very quick, I think that works well for games like this such as Celeste where you are expected to die hundreds of times. I think right now respawning might be too fast since its instant, maybe a quick death and respawn animation ~0.5s could help to smooth it out.

Thanks a lot for playing!! I agree dying is pretty abrupt - the game could've benefited from more polishing. It'll be good to know for next game at least :P
