I do like the idea, the screen tends to get a bit messy though and I wish the value of the tile was available at all times instead of needing to hold your mouse over it, it also gets hard to try and remember all the rules that get added but that's probably a skill issue on my end. I really like the sound and vibe of it all though.
I really enjoyed playing through this, it was fairly difficult for me so I appreciated the fact that respawning was very quick, I think that works well for games like this such as Celeste where you are expected to die hundreds of times. I think right now respawning might be too fast since its instant, maybe a quick death and respawn animation ~0.5s could help to smooth it out.
Like other comments have said I think a lack of tutorial really hurts it, as it is a fairly complicated game. That being said once you get the hang of what the pieces do it becomes a very fun and engaging puzzle game that I wish there were more levels for, but I'm sure the level editor (which is really impressive btw) will make up for that and I will check out some custom stages. The lack of music and sounds is also unfortunate, but I understand some compromises have to be made for a game jam. Overall your team did a great job!
Wow, this is just great. The concept is simple, creative, uses the theme perfectly, and is well executed. I can honestly see this being featured as a main game from the jam, or at least in a compilation of games. The art and sounds are also great. Overall, it's really good. I think the only gripe I have is the rather harsh difficulty, but maybe that's a positive since I spent way more time playing it than I thought I would.
