That shmuck never stood a chance!

Presentation wise, this is one of my favorite games in the Jam. I loved the atmosphere, characters, voice acting, and vibe of  this game so much. The creative direction was knocked out of the park. Ya killed it! 

When I got to Big Slick I heard 'that shmuck never stood a chance' and 'better luck next time pal' at the exact same time. Then, the screen sided to black. Regardless, I had a great time and I love the world you have built. Keep up the awesome work!  :)

 There was a last minute bug with Big Slick that's fixed now in the HTML version. Fair warning though, he won't go easy on you!

Awesome that you fixed it! :) Round two against the big guy!!! I liked the fight! I brought him down to one stack left, but narrowly lost.

In the rematch, somehow the pot did not pay out and I got stuck in big slick's purgatory. I could fold and check, but I could never call or raise. I think my chips were confused and scared. So I started checking out of morbid curiosity until I won a round . After a while I finally won a single chip that was instantly put back in the pot.


After months of purgatory I was able to somehow trigger the loss condition and win the poker tournament after restarting. A completely unintended emotional roller coaster. Big slick's purgatory is something I will always remember fondly. I am now staring at him and refusing to hit the streets, as I know he would do the same for me.

I had a blast, thank you for participating in the jam! Worth coming back for.
