The game has a lot of neat things going on and a good area discovery. (Played the game in browser using keyboard) The game has some very interesting art for sprites and map tiles. The attack animations and weather animations were great too.

From the devlog and from what I can tell, I think the game is expansive enough. Here are a few things I think you could polish to get core game better. The "ESC" button input clashes when in full-screen mode. The attack using the left click would continue until stamina was completely used. Many tiles would cover the player in many locations. Also wished attacks could be used up and down and not just left and right.

Onto this Jam's grading criteria. I think some of the dev logs were really good and very detailed, while others didn't quite hit the mark. Overall, I can see how much progress you have made, and it's fantastic. I applaud your effort and wish you the best!

Thank you very much for your comment and taking the time for this feedback!

Attacks are in the direction of the right stick or the direction of the mouse, they clash when the mouse is still in screen i haven't fixed that yet. You can press P instead of esc, but i am aware unfortunatly many keys clashes with browser plays, i am looking to fix that.

For the jam devlogs, i cant agree more, however i'd say its more of a category issue. Some were just quick anouncements/quick bug fixes and others actual major changes.

Once again thank you very much! ❤️

This is a really cool game! I love the graphics and how the environment feels alive with the soundscapes, like how you had the birds fly away when you walked over them. I played a few times and died a lot. It was a really cool game, the enemies were just challenging enough, and I liked the overall progression and the linear structure of the game while also leaving you with some choice as to the direction you wanted to go. The rpg stats at the beginning also added more depth. One thing I noticed was that when you click the attack button a few times in a row, the player will continue attacking and you can't control them. I wasn't sure if this was intentional or a bug. I am also in the continue your game jam, and my game is Master of Pong. It's my first public videogame, a 10-level Pong game with powerups and music I made myself on a keyboard, so if you get a chance, feedback is always appreciated. Anyway, I think your game has a lot of potential and it was very fun!

Thank you so much for these kind words! I am delighted you enjoyed my project and I hope you will come back to it when it will have more flesh around the bone story wise and diversity wise!

The attack even if intentional definitely need a timer of sort. The plan was to have a control patern similar to the souls-like where if you press a few times it will keep going for some of the attacks done, unfortunately I haven't mastered that part yet 😅

I will gladly take a look into the projects you have and give feedback!
