Getting unsolicited emails from game creators even after adjusting profile settings

Hello,
similarly to the issue described here https://itch.io/t/1856548/how-do-i-turn-off-email-notifications-for-games-i-have... , I get unsolicited emails from games I bought with various bundles. I did NOT use any script, I added the games that were of interest manually.

Please turn off all such game creators' notifications for my account on your side in bulk. I have changed any available setting in my itch.io profile to suit my needs, it doesn't work for those emails.

Thanks.

So, there is still no manual control over this mailing lists on the user side? Like unsubscribing without getting a mail first? Or ability to resubscribe?

https://itch.io/docs/creators/interact

If you have a page for sale, you can send an email to all your buyers via itch.io. Do so via the Interact tab, in the email section. You can include the buyer’s purchase URL at the bottom of any email you send to make sure they can easily access any files you may have updated.

It looks like an out of date feature. If people want to follow a developer, they follow the developer. And if they want to get mail notification about sales, it is enough to put the game into a collection as there is this setting about emails. Plus the other relevant settings.

[ x ] Games and items I don't own in my collections go on sale

[ x ] New devlogs and updates from projects I follow

[ x ] New uploads are added to something I bought or follow

The devlog and following mechanic do, what the mailing list mechanic seems to supposed to offer as per examples in the docs. The mailing list per game mechanic is thus deprecated and should be removed entirely.
