Hello!

Firstly, great job on your game development project! I can tell you guys put good effort into it. Loved the intro scene, felt very professionally made. Music/Ambiance was very on point and the voice acting was such a nice touch. Art felt consistent and I think the style was perfect for this type of game (reminded me of We Were Here games). Interacting with the journal for the story progression was a fantastic and felt very fitting. Good design choice on giving leeway on not having to completely clean an object. The different puzzle variety kept each floor fresh, so it didn't feel very repetitive even with the cleaning.

Bugs/Improvements/Suggestions:

- I did not see an easy way in-game to adjust volume. I feel like this is the one setting that is mandatory for every game. Specifically for your game being FPP, I would say mouse sensitivity is a must as well).

- I think the control buttons telling you your button options should stand out more. I did not realize that I could rotate the object so i was stuck on the first object for a bit until I noticed the control text.

- Re entering objects does not show a key on getting out. I figured out E gets you out, but I think ESC is a more intuitive K&M button to cancel something. Either way would be good to add it, but honestly I think it would be better if re entry was instead locked after the object is completed. In puzzle games this is often the case because it helps player understand they did not miss something.

- I really had an issue with mouse click detection when working with the wizard statue and I was not able to rotate it at all while putting it together. I went in and out of various objects multiple times before it let me put all the pieces together. I was able to complete it eventually by guessing where the piece might go behind the wizard face.

- Puzzles that need cleaning after finishing them (like the globe) should open up into the cleaning screen. (I do a lot of real life puzzle rooms, so my brain has the one puzzle for 1 thing rule). It took me a bit to figure out I was not done with the globe after it game me a completed feedback.

- The repeating voice telling player they can't progress yet might get a bit obnoxious, I would say adding a delay before the trigger being able to be interacted with again might be a good idea.

- Sometimes when cleaning something, there's a visual indication that it's cleaning multiple places at the same time.

- Last puzzle at the top of the tower was really cool! Loved the end spin animation too. Sometimes it was hard to distinguish between correct and incorrect pieces due to the color tone variation. I think having it "lock" into place when you get it right would be good.

Overall great job on the submission again and good luck!

What a thorough analysis, thank you so much!! Both for the compliments and the feedback, we really appreciate it and will treasure them for the future! Some criticism you brought up we already came across, some is new, but all is very useful 💪

And as one of the artists, I'm happy to know you enjoyed the visuals so much! We put a lot of effort into this game and I'm glad it shows -w-

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thorough response! We really appreciate all of your feedback.

I'm glad to hear you connected with the art style, our art team really did a fantastic job. As jun mentioned, some of what you mention is already on our radar but some of your points are new. We'll absolutely keep them in mind as we update things.

I haven't had a chance to try Arctic Angler yet, but I'm excited to give it a shot later today. Thanks again!
