I was a bit confused with the controls of the game. The aesthetic of the game is really cute and I really like the idea behind it! Let me know if I missed something with the camera controls. Great job on getting the submission in!

Cool game idea with the carts being able to transport resources. It felt like the movement was momentum based, which is a cool idea but made it a bit frustrating as I constantly kept getting stuck and sometimes had to reload the web page (as the main menu button did not work). Great job on the submission overall!

Nice art and intriguing story idea. I would have loved a bit more direction at the beginning as I spent a while running around trying to figure out what to do when I went outside. Great job on the submission!

When trying to buy/place the sphere, is there a trick to it? I was not able to figure out how to get it out into the space area. Good job on getting your game submitted, let me know if I missed something and I'll give it another go!

Cool game idea! It's like Tetris/bejeweled mixed together. I was not able to progress past level 3 unfortunately. Great job on the submission!

Cool survival game! The shooting cooldown added the difficulty making it feel like i had to make every shot count. Great job on the submission!

Cool and unique game idea! I was hoping i could win by placing blocks around the purple blob and placing blocks around the green blob and that seemed to work at first but then the green blobs turned red and I lost. I know you mentioned you ran out of time to finish it but great job on getting what you had submitted!

Oh my, the player was naked!! :D Loved the music and overall vibe of the game. Great job on the submission!

(1 edit)

The game feels very smooth. I wish there was a bit more variation from the Udemy tutorial, but good job on completing that either way. Got to start somewhere! :)

This was a really neat idea, where you're a giant smashing the pesky warriors trying to invade your castle! Great use of the theme. I had an issue where enemies would spawn on top of the players head and I was not able to move. Also, I would greatly reduce the shake when moving, as it was very hard to focus on the ground with it shaking so violently. Great job on the submission overall!

This game reminded me of the frogger game I used to play a long time ago. I had a hard time jumping to reach some of the platforms and eventually was not able to reach the next platform at all. Great job on getting your game submitted!

Cool puzzle game idea! Once I figured out how the rules decided what's up against the wall/hidden from view/ etc. it was fairly easy to keep passing the levels. I was a bit unsure what the yellow notched things were against the walls in some of the rooms, but they didn't seem to affect me being able to place the shoo against them to count as being "against the wall". Great job overall on your submission!

Neat and different game idea for a platformer! I was able to get a score of 25. One big feedback I would have is to increase the gravity as it feels like it takes forever for the player to fall down so I can jump again. Great job on the submission!

It looks like you put in some work on the polish for a simple game and it feels pretty satisfying and impactful when you shoot and destroy the alien ships. Would of been cool to get some kind of upgrades as you progress further, but great job on getting the submission in overall!

Hey, I tried it a few times but I was a bit lost on what to play (I was thinking of the choices like cards, in where I wanted a higher number). What was the inteded way to play as I was not able to get a positive score.

Good job on getting your game submitted! I was able to catch some Gadot engine looking fish :D although, I fell of the left side looking for poor Whooper and did not stop falling into the void. Keep it up and working on the polish!

Sorry you ran out of time to get the game done. It seemed like a neat idea based on the description! Let me know if you get an update after the jam and I'll give it a try!

Cute game! When I got to about 47 kittens, the game started lagging quiet  a bit for me. The game has a neat take on a clicker game. It's a bit repetitive and I would have loved to see at least one more mechanic (such as a reason to have more kittens), so like maybe the more of them you have the faster you get fruits. I had an infinite amount of fruits to put down and I'm not sure if that was intended. The music was calming and fit the setting/theme well. Great job on your submission!

Although it took about 1-2 minutes, it eventually loaded up for me. I was not able to put it into full screen, but the idea was cute (feeding the rabbits with a carrot gun). I wasn't able to find all the rabbits before the lose screen came up. Would be good to have a timer going as I was kind of exploring for a bit without realizing I had a time limit (since the music was so relaxing). Great job on the submission!

Cool concept! Some feedback would be to make the instructions a bit shorter (not having a wall of text) as it can be a bit daunting to read through that much. The game was a bit complex so it kind of makes sense though so I'm not too sure how to best on board a new player in that case. However, the time to figure things out was definitely too fast. Maybe gradually increase the time as the player figures out more and more. Great job on the submission overall!

The screenshots look really cool (like the old doom games) so I really want to check it out but it keeps crashing my browser. Let me know if you are able to fix that and I will come back and check it out!

Great job on your submission! Really neat aesthetic and it fit well with your theme/setting. Since there didn't seem to be any downside of using the fireball, it made the sword a bit irrelevant, maybe adding some mana would help balance that a bit. I ran into an issue at the boss where he just faced the wall and did not attack me, but I was also unable to damage him and was not able to progress.

My best score was 10 seconds. It's quiet an unforgiving game right now, it would be better if there were smaller increments when I pressed space. Also, the background is cool but it was a bit distracting when trying to concentrate on not bumping Rick's head into the walls. Good job on the submission overall!

Hero status: confirmed! :)

Good job on getting your submission in! It would be good to put in some challenge for the player (like taking damage from the enemies). I thought the music was a good choice for the space atmosphere and game pace.

Nice! The second level was neat with how you had to place the box blindly after seeing where it should go with the other pad. The third level I was not able to figure out because there wasn't any clues on the map it was just the player's character and the grass. Either way, if this was your first submission, it's a great start! Keep it up. :)

Neat game! Great job on getting all those mechanics and systems in in such a short time. The music was relaxing and fit well to the atmosphere. There is a lot of content in the game for such a short time made by just one person. Awesome work, you have some great talent!

Awesome puzzle game! That definitely made me think. Some feedback is to make a level restartable if someone messes up, because if someone gets far and accidently messes up they may not want to replay all the levels to get to where they were. Also, it would be good to make the player move a bit faster as it made it a bit slow once you figure out what to do to move the character where you want. Great job overall!

Nice job with the procedural generation! Would have been cool to have some progressive difficulty as you win to keep the challenge going, but the procedural generation alone made it repayable for a while. Great job on the submission!

This was really fun! I remember playing this style of game a long time ago and it was a really cool flashback. Great job on getting all those mechanics in such a short time. The AI is a bit unforgiving, but it kept me on my toes so that was really cool!

That was a neat and relaxing game! It was really cool to fly around the forest and it seemed to work well in the browser. I wish I was able to make it full screen though as for some reason it was constrained to a tiny view port. Great job on the submission!

Moving the icons around to place them felt very smooth. As others have mentioned, the repetitive music was very difficult to concentrate and play the game for long. Once I saw your layout you posted, I was able to complete the layout but otherwise it is very difficult to figure out as I was not sure what those ranks were based on. Great job on getting the submission in!

This was a neat idea! Unfortunately, I did not have anyone to play with so i played against myself (which was interesting with pong lol). Great job on getting this submission in, as you don't see very many multiplayer games (even if local) in game jams.

Great job on still getting your submission in even with just 3 hours of work! It was playable, and an interesting idea with bringing back the food to the planet. My main issue was with how slow the turning was, made it a bit frustrating to move around.

Sadly I was also unable to remove the tutorial instructions. If that get's removed, let me know! Would love to check out your submission.

Was this by any chance accidently removed as being browser playable?  If it gets put up, let me know! Would love to check it out.

I think you may have disabled the full screen option on itch settings. Also, is this by any chance made from a GadeDev.TV tutorial?

I saved the planet!

This seems like a first time entry, great job on getting something out there! Would be good to include some kind of directions on how to play as I was unable to figure out what to do. If you can give me some instructions, I'll check it out again!

There’s definitely something special here and I could feel the emotional weight behind the design choices. I was a bit confused about how the light system worked as it seemed like sometimes I had positive light but I would still get to the lose screen, but I was still definitely curious to find out the game’s deeper meaning and kept trying! Would love love to see how you evolves this, seen how much thoughtfulness has been put into this entry.
