Youre upset it was short, which makes sense BUT if youre only restricting yourself to one route of course its going to be slow progression. Its a dating sim with NINE characters each with their own subroutes. I dont generally understand critisism twords vn creators when they talk about timing cause duh its free, but if youre only going to read one route how can you complain about pacing? I hope the creators dont take your message to heart because if you really enjoyed the story youd read the rest of routes. They even wrote why in the devlog, I dont know where you find the privilage to say "if you’re going to release a new build, it needs to be worth it"

Before getting into the main points, I want to say that if my earlier comments went a bit too far, I apologize.

Now, let’s get to points.

First, I made this very clear in BOTH of my comments, not just one: I understand, sympathize with, and accept that the game development can be slow. I never asked the developers to rush, and I even said they should feel free to take as much time as they need. What I’m dissatisfied with, as what I already said clearly, is not the waiting itself, but the outcome. This update took a full year, yet the quality doesn’t feel proportional to that amount of time. To be blunt, compared to earlier updates of this same route, this one feels noticeably weaker, despite taking longer to release. In the past, updates for this route usually came out after around six to nine months; this one took an entire year, yet shows a clear step back in terms of content and execution.

Second, I don’t understand the idea that players ARE NOT allowed to complain about the quality of a free product. From the perspective of a player and consumer, I think it’s completely reasonable to point out issues. If something is poorly executed, it’s still poorly executed, regardless of whether it’s free or paid. Of course, I do understand that because this is a free project, the level and tone of criticism should be more restrained. However, it doesn’t justify overly harsh attacks, players are allowed to express dissatisfaction or point out things they find unreasonable or disappointing. And if my earlier comments felt excessive to you, I’m willing to acknowledge that.

Third, everyone experiences stories differently. Liking the story does not automatically mean someone has to read every single route. Two years ago, I did read all of them and realized that some routes simply weren’t for me. So now I choose to focus on just one route. It’s really that simple.

You keep bringing up “it took a year that dosnt justify the quantity”  IT HASNT, its been 1 month and that was for 3 routes which is insanely fast for a vn! I can’t name another vn that has such a consistent schedule, it’s amazing what they do. You’re reading 1/9ths of the story, probably even less cause of sub routes. As time progresses the stories seperate even more and more time is needed. I never said anything about rushing i just said it’s stupid and weird of you to write an essay criticizing the team for that. This is the equivalent of you saying “i’m only going to go outside for one month out of 12” then complain that the month was too short.

And yeah of course you are allowed to complain over free goods but the audacity today “it needs to be worth it” after the author took time to acknowledge your  stupid tantrum is appalling. Go look up the definition of consumer, then look up the definition of purchased. Clearly you have a lot of time on your hands, if you’re going to limit yourself to a book with such a large cast and be upset, then this story is NOT for you. “It’s really that simple 🤓👆”

It’s a bit disappointing to see you rely on tactics like straw man arguments, whataboutism, false generalizations, and ad hominem attacks. Nevermind, I’ll focus on the main issues and set those aside. I’ll also keep my points more concise this time, for you :v

First, my criticism has always been about Mikko’s route specifically, not the entire game or other routes. I don’t understand why you brang up overall update speed, content from different routes, or how other players feel, because that doesn’t address the point I’m making.

Second, once again, I’ve never asked the developers to rush or demanded faster updates. What I’ve always said is that after roughly a year, the update for Mikko’s route doesn’t feel proportional in quality to the time spent waiting. That’s the only issue I’m raising, and it’s a matter of expectation versus outcome, not entitlement.

Moreover, you know what ? I prefer explaining my concerns clearly and thoroughly rather than leaving short, vague remarks. I’m pretty sure I did keep my points as concise as possible, but maybe it’s too long for you ? Oh screw it.

Regarding your whole second paragraph and your weather examples, it mostly just repeats all the points I’ve already addressed and drifts into unnecessary personal attacks and irrelevant stuffs, so I’ll respectfully skip responding to that part.
