Great game, definitely a nice take on the theme and a well done realisation in any aspects.
It would be nice to have audio in the intro, but I guess you didn't have time.
I couldn't complete the game, I mess up very much the game when trying to run with the shift and using WASD, I would probably play better with the arrow keys, but that's maybe a personal thing. I closed the game tab once and create some problems on a few plays where the character stops to move towards the fire and moves only in the opposite direction automatically.
I think i can be a good entry for game portals, where in addition to the normal game mode, you can have an endless mode where players challenge each other to climb the top of the leaderboard for the one that can last longer.
