Nope, the songs are not licensed. The authors copyright policy and StepMania’s policy allows me to use that charts in a non commercial open source project unless copyright policies change

The short answer is: No

The chart writers are using the songs without permission so the chart authors and StepMania don’t have jurisdiction on that matter. And since Fair Use is stricter in Japan, you’ll probably have to remove all these songs and possibly pay for damages if Piapro or whoever the copyright holder is ever finds out about this game.

i know but isn’t dangerous right now. i’m not making money with this and is still small. i don’t think I’ll get that far before I can develop official songs
