The rules also point out that the people you're addressing don't watch the forum so are unlikely to see your post.

I've let our admins know about your ticket.

Ah yes I am very well aware of this rule too. I would have no problem with waiting ıf ıt wasnt for keep bugging with game devs with my constant approval wanting comments while all ı just want to share my enthusiasm. I wish they no longer have to keep checking the page for my sake or any of players with good intention (and yes ı know there isnt much you can do but ı saw tons of similar posts in here before sending mine too so ıt seems like a bad issue for many). Thank you for your super gentle guiding and help ^^

I am not entirely sure how all this works, but the moderators that approve comments are Itch staff. That's why it takes so long. They are bogged down with all the issues caused by the criminals.

It might be, that developers also can approve comments on their own game. If they manage to find the button for it. But as far as I know, only community style comment sections are moderated by the developer.

As a side note, one of the reasons why there are no private messages on Itch is the "moderation nightmare" this would entail. Imagine the fake accounts spamming users directly.

Thanks for the explaining! I didnt know about itch staff had to check each message so ıts good to know about how the system works but I knew developers can also approve the comment (ım not sure ıf there is any limitations to this) because ı have two game developers friends ı chat with everyday (this is also how ı know they always check their pages to approve my comments when ı sent them). To be honest I feel very upset about all these bot spam things because they technically make things harder for everyone and ı agree with the private message thing. I cant even imagine what kind of chaos would envail with so many spam bots would keep opening chats and sending messages non-stop though ı heard from my one developer friend that they are also trying to do that in their way; she said her games started get into some not public collections with ''NEW UPDATE HERE'' or ''THİS İS OUR SOFTWARE TRY İT OUT'' descriptions and links while only the game devs whose games were in collection could see them so I am guessing this is their way of ''private messaging'' now? (I will attach the few evidences at the end).  currently ım trying to help her with spam bots and trying to report those accounts but they keep happening. I hope there will be some sort of solution for all this bot mess while I am not blaming anyone because Im sure ıt was also hard for them.

here are the ''collection spams'' ı was talking about (small note: that game spam one talks about entirely different game than what my friend did. it might be obvious but ı still wanted to say it ^^;;)

I did not yet encounter any scam with the collection mechanic yet. Maybe it is related to the scam blog posts, or they are targeted at developers. But if you say those are non-public collections, then no one can see them. Public collections do appear in the feed and so do blog posts. Blog posts also are findable via google.

I remember one thing Itch mangaged to successfully remove. It was fake download buttons. After they introduced that external link highlight, the criminals gave up on that method.

Sadly, they gave not up on being criminals. They try lots of things. I am seriously surprised, they did not do massive spamming earlier. Or maybe they did, but were so clumsy, that they got blocked at an earlier stage.

It is just so low and despicable what they are doing. They need to get jailed, but they probably operate in some corrupt excuse for a country.
