Good game. Well polished and loved the juiciness of the vfx!

I'm glad you found it juicy, lol. Thanks for playing.

I really enjoyed this entry. The art style was great, especially loved the glowing confetti gun (though it got extremely hectic visually, it looked extremely pretty). The music was just the right mix of foreboding and arcadey, punctuated with great sound effects. The toy soldiers noise was great.

The gameplay was very polished and smooth. I especially loved that dashing reloads your gun. I don’t think I’ve seen that before, but it felt very smooth. The upgrade system got a little bit samey, I would have liked more interesting upgrades, and I kept getting repeats of the dash length / invincible dash mechanic. But overall felt great, and I liked the variety of the different weapons. The confetti cannon was flat out broken though, I only lost because I wanted to test the final weapon I hadn’t tried for review purposes, I feel like i could hold off death indefinitely with the confetti gun :P

Also I wanted to mention there are a lot of little juicy effects, like the wave number tweening in for example, that made the game feel very polished.

Overall a great entry and I had a lot of fun with it. Great work!

Fair feedback, and my god, good on you for making it to 16 waves. I think I went a little overboard on the health scaling of the enemies. The upgrades definitely needed something more.

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

My buddy, this game is really fun. You've done a great job making it enjoyable to play. The effects are nice, the graphics are good, and the gameplay is excellent. However, I ran into a problem while playing. It says there are 11 enemies left, but even though I explored, I couldn't see any enemies. Also, you could add a menu.

Anyway, congratulations on finishing it on time. Feel free to take a look at my game too. :)

Yeah, the game definitely needed more features for finding the enemies. I had added a system to find the last enemy, but on later waves, there are often many enemies that are hard to find, so fair criticism. Regardless, I'm glad you liked it so much, and thanks for playing.

Pretty fun game! The graphics were pretty good, shooting felt pretty satisfying, and i really liked the enemy variety. The enemies in particular inspire me for some stuff I want to do a separate project. I agree with jamtonyx on the dash distance upgrade since i felt like i was being flung around a lot, and I felt like the little packages gun (I forget the proper name now) feels pretty underpowered for what it's supposed to be since it would only damage a single enemy. Overall tho you did pretty good!

Fair feedback. Thanks for playing.

Cool stuff! I really like the visuals and pixelart and the different weapons are really cool. One critique is the lack of unique upgrades, especially in a roguelike where options are the highlight. I also ended up disliking the dash distance since it'd very often displace me too much. Otherwise it's a very fun game and I enjoyed running through it!

Fair feedback. I think the game needed more content in general, although upgrades in particular probably needed some more stand-out options.

Thanks for playing!
