Could be a good idea yes.

First pay Shady an 'outrageous' sum(50M??) for her to 'contact a contact'...after which, Shady can sell the player an item which Khelara could utilize to insert a row of Underverse Sub-units... ofcourse this would be limited a bit: the 'item' would break down after a few fights, requiring a new one to be bought...

The player would have to keep this up, untill they reach the Quthor-Questline to obtain the Orange Cube, to permanently upgrade his Reactor to sustain Underverse Sub-units?

I have added a feature to my to-do list  to allow limited use of this components in early game already. I think buying some consumables or paying a hefty fee could be a way to go.

Looking forward to it!

A hefty fee is quite reasonable in NG+ mode. If you get the hang of the game a bit, and the Multiverse-Pod option, starting the game with a nice pile of high-levle items, is standard. Adding an extra piece of equiment, or a high-value Bot is easy enough to do.(a well-built Galaxina-shell/Golden Seductress-shell can easily reach 200M+ value.. i had a Galaxina-Bot at 380M 'spare', on my latest Newgame.. 138IQ, so i sold that on day 2 for a sale-value of 528M. Pharaoh-achievement from the start lol!)

And most importantly, it would nót compromise the quest in Quthor!

PS, regarding the Bot Collective-questline.

Leveling up the Bots in this Quest becomes quite the grind on higher levels...

Would it be an idea perhaps to let the Bots use a sécond weapon from.. idk level 5? To hasten the progress a bit; By the time you reach level 5 on a Bot, you've grinded plenty of Hostile Bot-bases?

Also the difference in damage-output on both Bot-level as well as the Mk-I/Mk-II, and light/medium/heavy blasters could do with a little fine-tuning perhaps :)

...Just feedback! Its a new concept, but i've noticed, sometimes having a Mk-II blaster equipped, still only results on 2-3 damage on the Control Module for example, thats a bit low for a Level 6 ot 7 Bot with a Mark-II blaster :) Especially vs a level 4 or 5 Control Module with 86 or 105HP! ^^

No rush, quality takes time, and you're yet to dissapoint with this game! Enjoying it a lot still!

thanks for the hints regarding balancing the RPG game. I found it quite difficult to transfer a DND mechanic into a on screen game, because the users will not like the many misses you can roll. So I changed the misses to chip away minimum damage, which is probably what you're observed.

But definitely might need more balancing.
