Do you allow Cupertino GDC to record and publish media of your game?

I/We agree

Anything else you would like us to know?
Unity messed up everything. The builds don't properly work, the scripts were not compiled properly and the web build crashes because of a line of code that literally does not exist. I hope one of the ways provided (windows/linux) will actually enable you to play the game. Mouse sensitivity settings work, the others were deepfried by Unitys build process.

Very good implementation of the mask theme, and beautiful soundtrack!

Pretty cool game! The game felt polished.

I also faced bugs while building the game for Web, but eventually i figured it somehow.

super creative theme interpretation here! pretty surprising that this was made in just 3 days. the game does feel a bit janky at times seeing as i randomly got flung through a wall during the tutorial, forcing a restart,or how weird jumping felt with being unable to jump while holding a cube but also getting weird bounces of sorts when walking onto a platform. other than that i really liked this game!

Thanks!

The movement was a bit weird to try to get working. Thing is, Unity doesn't have cylindrical colliders, so that always makes this ledge-bouncing hard to fix :(

And the Cube this is there to prevent you from just taking one cube and jumping from platform to platform xD

Great game! The theme interpretation is very creative, and I love the UI and the little animations when loading a level and clicking the pause button. The music is very fitting for the game and the use of sound effects is great too. The movement feels good, I would just suggest making the jump a little higher. The art is solid too, especially the first room, I like the wall textures. The way the cube reveals stuff in the room is very cool and I'm curious how you did that effect in Unity if you don't mind me asking. Luckily, I didn't experience any issues with the windows build and the game ran well, I just had to turn down the mouse sensitivity. Overall the game is very polished and this has been one of the best games in the jam that I've played. Amazing work, especially for a solo dev!

Thank you so much!

I achieve the effect using a custom shader. It is a copy of the standard URP lit shader. In the main rendering pass, I calculate the worldspace distance of each pixel to the nearest "lightsource" and determine  if it should be the inner filter, outer filter or ring. To let the shader know where the lights are, I update a global shader variable with the lightcount and two compute buffers with the positions and radii of the lights. Hope that helps!

Very cool game! I like the concept of using mask as the mask of the past. I feel like controls could be polished more, but overall very good experience, considering that it is done in that small amount of time. Awesome submission, thank you for that experience.

PS: Unfortunately I was not able to play it, so I watched it on my friend’s stream :)

Thank you for the nice review!
