How did you implement the Theme?
With difficulty :P I struggled with incorporating the theme, but I hope I did a good job.

How did you add the Special Object?
There's a bell in the tower, it keeps track of your time

A really nice platformer, to be honest :>

Cool visuals. It was kinda challenging, I couldn't make the jumps lol, the screaming sound effect is stuck in my head.

Tight controls and the luxury of a camera sensitivity setting, make this a great little  3D platforming experience, especially for a short jam game. My only complaint is that the level is too small, but I think that is just a sign of how enjoyable it is to play around in. Great job!

Also, mad respect for using Godot and for uploading a linux build <3

Hehe, thank you very much! I'm glad that you spotted the camera sensitivity setting - I really should of added a control layout diagram to the game itself, but dammit, it was Christmas eve and I was so burned out by the end! I'd of loved to of made the level bigger and added a few more trees and scenery items, or maybe even a few more levels - but I just didn't have the time. Maybe in a post-jam build I'll add a bunch more levels and some more features. ^_^ Thank you for playing and rating!

Your wish is my command! ^_^

Version 2.0 includes -

- A marginally bigger level

- One more tree to decorate in the same timespan for extra challenge

- More decoration (lil houses with christmas wreaths!)

- Improved proloading (though it may still initially hang a bit in the web version depending on your PC specs - but, as far as I'm aware, it does all that at the start now, now during gameplay)

- Fewer (if any) bugs

- An improved menu with in-game credits

- A controls layout diagram in the intro/before playing

Very cute models! I love the sound the elf makes when falling off the map. Made making a mistake less painful lmao.

I made a video of your game! It's at the 7:07 mark of this video.

Woohoo a 3d platformer, I love the sfx so much, this game is very fun :D

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :D

Very cool. I laughed that you fall on your face if you fall from too high up.

Controls took me a little while for me to understand, but once I got the hang of it, I was able to beat the game easily. Great job on your jam submission!

Nice game! Really good sound and visuals. Loved the free camera feature and the cute elf sounds :D

Developer

Thank you! And HOORAY someone actually used the free look feature! :D I'm so glad, hahaha

This was a fun one! It felt almost retro and the art style popped out very well. I also liked the sound design, falling off the map and hearing the little elf scream was cute. The camera controls felt a little sensitive for me, but I was able to get through it on browser. Awesome work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm going to play yours as soon as the main part of my Christmas day is over. By the way - Camera sensitivity can be modified at any time using the MINUS and PLUS/EQUALS keys on the keyboard ^_^

Really cool!

Developer

Thank you! <3 I'm going to play yours as soon as the main part of my Christmas day is over ^_^

It's pretty cool seeing a 3D platformer here! Maybe the movement could have used a bit of work, but this was overall pretty cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! <3 I'm going to play yours as soon as the main part of my Christmas day is over :)

Specifically, what issues did you have with the movement? I ask as I'm gonna tune up the character controller for further projects ^_^
